You came bedecked

In the rainbow hues of summer shower,

The sunny gleam in your sparkling eyes,

The cloudy haze in your wavy hair,

The dawny glow in your rosy cheeks,

The earthly fragrance in your golden skin,

The gurgling stream in your gleeful chatter,

Your green field apparel with the matching mark of love,

And like a rainbow you vanished,

Even before I could impress,

The memento of a flying farewell kiss.
